The Lord gave me a dream in which I saw a little child playing. Suddenly, I heard this child’s father speak loudly from another room saying, “Come on; it is time to leave.” I then heard other members of this family leaving from other rooms in the house as they all began to depart from the house. But this child began to try and gather up some toys, articles of clothing, a doll, another pair of shoes, and a couple of games to take with her. It did not take her long before she realized that she could not possibly carry all that she had gathered up; so, thinking quickly, she grabbed a long piece of cord and began to tie each article of possible to the cord, about 1 ½ to 2 feet apart from each other.
As soon as she left her room and walked down the hallway, her possessions immediately got snagged on the corner of her bedroom door. She then freed that, but when she turned the corner that led from the hallway to the foyer, they snagged again on the corner. She freed that, and then began to run out of the front door, and this time her possessions got snagged on an outside railing. Again she returned to free that snag, and when she had done so, she took off running. But when rounded a car that was parked at the head of her drive way, the cord really got tightly snagged under the front tire. She tugged and tugged from a few different directions before she was able to free her cord of possessions. Then when she turned around, she found that her father had left without her.
Matthew 25:10-13 “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, “Lord, Lord, open to us!” But he answered and said, “Assuredly I say to you, I do not know you.” Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”
Matthew 24:15-18 “Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.”
Then the Lord said, “That which his carnal cannot enter into that which is spiritual.”
Then the Spirit of the Lord began to quicken to me the following words:
My Life
Matthew 16:24 “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any man will come after me, let him deny (disown; dispossess) himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life (the carnal) shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake (the spiritual) shall find it.”
Luke 12:15 “And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”
The Spirit also quickened to me a this word; I was praying one morning just after the all the failures on Wall Street occurred and the economy began to fail when the Lord said to me, “I did not come to save the “American way of Life”, but I came to save your souls.
Matthew 6:24-34 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
The works of the flesh:
Galatians 5:16 “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness (self-righteousness), lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
I Corinthians 6:9,10 “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, fornicators, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified (the carnal) with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ (the spiritual) lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 5:24 “And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.”
I Corinthians 1:18-19 “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise (the carnal), and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent (that is, if you ask him to).”
Unbelievers
Hebrews 3:10-12 “Therefore I was angry with that generation and said, “They always go astray in their heart and they have not known My ways.” So I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest.” Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God.”
Hebrews 3:18,19 “And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.”
Hebrews 4:10,11 “For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.”
After these words, the Lord then quickened to me that which is written in Malachi 3:1-3: “Behold, I send My messenger, and he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple (our bodies), even the Messenger of the covenant in whom you delight. “Behold, He is coming” (just like the shout that went out before the 10 virgins) says the LORD of hosts. “ But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; he will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver so that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness.”
I then asked the Lord, “Who shall stand before your refining fire?” He answered and said, “All those who let go and cast that which their own life consists of into the fire. These are my chosen ones, the ones who stand before the refining fire, disowning and casting into the fire the lusts of their flesh, the lust in their eyes and the uncleanness of their own righteousness, their pride, their love of self, their desires for fame and glory, their love for money, their own wisdom and understanding, their vain opinions and reasonings, the idolatry of their hypocrisies, the works of their iniquities, their hatred, the sores of their bitterness, their fleshy feelings and emotions, their envies and jealousies, the cares and pleasures of this world, their worries and anxieties, their murmurings and complaints, their unbelief, their doubts, their distrust, their fears, their judgments and accusations of others, their unwillingness, their unforgiveness, their arguments and strife, their contentions, as well as the enmity in their thoughts that opposes the will of God. I have called many, but only a few have let go and offered up their lives before me for a burnt offering.
Romans 12:1,2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
I Corinthians 3:12-16 “Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”
Those who stand before the fire are those few who willingly cast into it that which their own life consists of for my sake; that is, they cast into the fire their captivity to sin and death so that they may receive my life; the Spirit of life that sets them free from all sin and death. My chosen are those that chose to die so that the life of Christ Jesus may be manifest in them. I am the life that they have sought to have for themselves. I am the life that is without any spot or blemish. No greater love has a man than this, that he would lay down his life for another. I am a consuming fire; and though the fire burns up the old life, they themselves shall not be burned. These are my elect; my chosen jewels; my precious ones who accounted the nature of my life to be more precious to them their own. These are they that when they hear me call, they shall come immediately because they have “let go” of all. Those who have let go of all are they who shall receive all”.
Matthew 16:24-25 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”
Romans 8:2 “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”
Ephesians 5:25-27 “Husbands, love your wives just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for her so that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that he might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”
Jude 20-25 “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Glory to God. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.”
