Thus says the Lord, “My people are perishing for a lack of knowledge.”
My people are perishing for a lack of knowledge. My people are perishing for a lack of the knowledge of the truth. My people are perishing because they do not know the truth about the love that I have for them. My people are perishing because they do not know me. My people are perishing contrary to my will because it is my will for all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth about my love. My people are perishing because they are more concerned about seeking and knowing themselves than they are about seeking and knowing the love of their heavenly Father. My people are perishing because their ignorance of me will not allow for them to trust me, or to believe on my words, or to put their faith in the love that I have for them.
Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
I Corinthians 15:34 “Become sober-minded as you ought, and stop sinning; for some have not the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.”
Matthew 11:27 "All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”
John 17:3 “"This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”
My people are perishing because they do not know that before I can draw near to them, they must first draw near to me, lest I force myself on any. My people are perishing because they do not know that it is the reasonings and the logic of their own wisdom and understanding counsels them not to draw near to me. My people are perishing because they do not know that it is their own wisdom and understanding that works to keep them alienated and separated from the a life that is filled with blessings of my love, as well as a life that is filled with fellowship, and communion, and love with their heavenly Father. My people are perishing because they do not know that if they would ask of me, then I would come and destroy the enmity of their wisdom and bring their vain understanding to nothingness. My people do not know how much my heart grieves for them when they do not draw near to know me or to prove the wonderful works of my love.
Hebrews 7:18-20 “For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness, 19 for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.”
James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”
Psalm 73:28 “But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all Your works.
Zephaniah 3:1-3 “Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, to the oppressing city! She has not obeyed His voice. She has not received correction. She has not trusted in the LORD, She has not drawn near to her God.”
I Corinthians 1:18-19 “For the message of the cross (the daily cross that those take up who follow Jesus) is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
My people are perishing because they do not know that my love will never depart from or forsake them. My people are perishing because they do not know that it is their unbelief of my words and their doubts of my love that are leading them to depart from my words and forsake my love. My people are perishing because they do not know that their ignorance of me is preventing them from seeing the mighty works that my love desires to perform for them. My people are perishing because they do not know that it is the mighty works of Father’s great love that is to be accompanying their faith, and not their own works. My people are perishing because they do not know that my love eagerly awaits for them to ask me to cast out all of their fears, their pride, their doubts, their unbelief, as well as all of the imaginations in their reasonings and logic that oppose and exalt themselves against me. My people are perishing because they do not know that the grace of my love is so great that it allows for me to show my grace and bless them, even in the times of darkness when their weaknesses and sins abound say that I cannot love them or bless them.
I Samuel 12:20 “Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have committed all this evil, yet do not turn aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart.”
I Timothy 4:1,2 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.”
Hebrews 3:12,13 “Beware brethren lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin (unbelief & doubts).”
Isaiah 59:2 ‘But your iniquities have separated you from your God and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he will not hear.”
John 15:8,9 “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me.”
II Corinthians 10:4-7 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling
down strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
My people are perishing because they do not know that I am not like a man, and neither am I like the image of the thoughts that men imagine for me to be. I am not at all like the idols of men’s opinions and imaginations of me. I love to show mercy and forgive when men delight in judging, or in belittling, or in accusing, or in fault finding, or in criticizing, or in scoffing, or in the pointing of the finger, or in condemning. I am not like the images of love, or judgment, or truth, or life, or forgiveness, or goodness, or righteousness, or the meekness that the imaginations of men define me to be; for that which is spiritual can never be understood or defined by that which is natural. I am the undefined love. I am the indefinable, the incomprehensible, and the inconceivable reality of love that natural man cannot understand, but that which all desire and yearn to have. I am the undefined everlasting life. I am everlasting love. I am love. My love is reality, and all else perishes. The righteousness of my love does not seem right in the sight of those who are perishing. My goodness of my love does not appear good in the sight of the blind. That which is blind and that seems right is perishing. My thoughts are always right towards man because my love always thinks to do good to man, even when the reasoning of man says that I am not thinking to do them good. My people are perishing because they do not know my thoughts. My thoughts are not as man’s thoughts. My thoughts are indefinable, inconceivable, and incomprehensible to those who do not know me.
I Corinthians 2:9-12 But as it is written: “ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.”
Proverbs 2:6 “For the Lord gives wisdom; out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.”
Isaiah 55:8,9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Romans 1:21-25 “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”
Acts 17:22-30 “So Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, "Men of Athens, I observe that you are very religious in all respects. For while I was passing through and examining the objects of your worship, I also found an altar with this inscription, “TO AN UNKNOWN GOD”. Therefore what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; and he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for him and find him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, “For we also are His children.” Being then the children of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and thought of man. Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent.”
I am faithful and true, and I am always faithful and true to those who believe my words. As I have told you before, I love all men, but I am only able to show favor and bless those who believe on me and my words. I cannot show that I am faithful and true to those who are perishing because they do not believe my words. My love does not need a reason to love because the nature of love is to love; and I do not change. My love never fails. My people are perishing because they do not know that there is nothing that is able to limit the wonderful works that my love desires to perform for them; that is, except their own unbelief, fears, and doubts. My people are perishing when they depart and forsake me, being led away because through the lies of unbelief, of fear, of reasoning, of doubt, as well as the logical counsels that seem right. My people are perishing because their hearts do not know that my love would never think for even a moment to depart or forsake them, especially when the darkness attacks them with the confusion of lies that seek to overcome their faith with these doubts, reasonings, distrust, fears, unbelief and logic. My people are perishing because they do not know that I love them even when they do not love me. My love finds nothing impossible to perform for my beloved when they turn to me. My people do not know that if they can think and ask it, then my love is able to do exceedingly abundantly above that which they thought or asked.
I John 4:9-11 “By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”
My people are perishing because they do not know that it is the self-righteousness of their wisdom and their pride that works to keep them from receiving the blessings of my love. My people are perishing because they do not know that it is the pride in their hearts that deceives them not to draw near to me. My people perish when they bow their hearts to honor and worship their pride; the pride that refuses to allow for them to humble their hearts….to call out on my name for counsel, or for deliverance, or for help, or for seeing and hearing, or for increase, or for comfort, or for wisdom and understanding, or for strength, or for guidance and direction, or for provision, or for the comforts of my love. My people are perishing because they do not know that in all things I am always there for them. I am always there for those who call on my name, asking for me to deliver them out of all their troubles. My people are perishing because they do not know that they can call on my name and ask for me to deliver them from all their worries, their fears, and their anxieties (cares). My people are perishing because they do not know that they can call on my name, asking for me to deliver them from all that distresses them. My people are perishing because they do not know that I am willing and able to deliver them from every evil work. My people are perishing because they do not know that my love is always there to help them. My people are perishing because they do not know that I did not call them to be their own lord and their own god, but that I should be their Lord and their God.
Jeremiah 9:6 “Your dwelling place is in the midst of deceit; Through deceit they refuse to know Me,” says the LORD.”
Obadiah 3 “The pride of your heart has deceived you…”
Philippians 4:6 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
I Peter 5:7 “Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.
Psalm 34:4 “I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 34:17-19 “The righteous cry, and the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to them that are of a broken heart; and he saves such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.”
Psalm 107:4-9 “They wandered in the wilderness in a desert region; they did not find a way to an inhabited city. They were hungry and thirsty; their soul fainted within them. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses. And He led them forth by the right way so that they might go to a city for a dwelling place. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.”
Psalm 107:10-16 “Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, bound in affliction and irons because they rebelled against the words of God, and despised the counsel of the Most High,
Therefore He brought down their heart with labor; they fell down, and there was none to help.
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He has broken the gates of bronze, and cut the bars of iron in two.”
Psalm 107:17-22 “Fools, because of their transgression and because of their iniquities, they were afflicted. Their soul abhorred all manner of meat, and they drew near to the gates of death. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing.”
Psalm 107:27-32 “They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm so that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet, and He guides them to their desired haven. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them exalt Him also in the assembly of the people, and praise Him in the company of the elders.”
Romans 10:13 “For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
Though my people praise me with their lips and honor me with their mouths, they are still perishing because their own wisdom will not allow for their hearts to draw near to me. Though their mouths profess to know me as their God, the darkness of ignorance remains in their hearts that does not know me as their King, or their Lord, or their Savior, or their Deliverer, or their Healer, or their Provider, or their Physician, or their Strong Tower, or their Redeemer, or their Helper, or their Protector, or their Strength, or their Comforter, or their Judge, or their Shepherd, or their Creator, or their Maker, or their Teacher, or their Friend, or their Brother, or their Father, or their Husband, or as their Lover. My people are perishing because they do not know that Father’s love made me to be all of these things just for them. My people are perishing because they do not know that they truly are the object of all of Father’s affection and love. I have given my people my name to call on, but those who are perishing do not know it because they do not know me, nor the love that I have for them.
Ephesians 4:19 “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.”
Isaiah 29:13,14 “Inasmuch as this people draw near to me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but they have removed their hearts far from Me; and their fear towards Me is taught by the commandment of men. Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people; a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”
Colossians 1:18 “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
I am grieved because my people are perishing because of their ignorance of the love and affection that I have for them.
Jeremiah 4:22 “For my people are foolish, they have not known Me. They are senseless children, and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.”
Jeremiah 9:22,23 “ Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, nor let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD.
Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the LORD while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
Jeremiah 9:23 “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
